Direct vs Indirect
Direct trains take approximately 3h 52min–4h 19min with no changes. Indirect trains require a change at Brussels-Midi (same station, no switching) and take around 4–5 hours total, but offer more departure times.
En Route Stops
Direct trains pass through or stop at Lille, Brussels-Midi, Rotterdam Centraal, and Schiphol Airport before arriving at Amsterdam Centraal. Some services stop at all, others are semi-direct.
Plus Class Note
On London–Amsterdam direct trains, Plus passengers receive two food services: breakfast after boarding and a light snack later in the journey. On the Brussels–Amsterdam leg of indirect journeys, no meal service is provided in Plus.

EES (EU Entry/Exit System)
The EU Entry/Exit System has been in phased rollout since October 2025, with full enforcement expected by 10 April 2026. New Amsterdam Terminal
The new Eurostar terminal at Amsterdam Centraal opened on 10 February 2025, increasing capacity from 250 to 650 passengers. Located under platform 15, it features dedicated EES kiosks and a modern security screening area.
