Gateway to Pompeii

Napoli Centrale station sits above Piazza Garibaldi, where the Circumvesuviana commuter train operates from the lower level. The Circumvesuviana runs directly to Pompei Scavi-Villa dei Misteri station in approximately 38 minutes -- the entrance to the archaeological site is steps from the platform. Gateway to the Amalfi Coast and Sorrento

Napoli Afragola -- The Suburban Station

Some high-speed services stop at Napoli Afragola, a modern station designed by Zaha Hadid, located approximately 12 km northeast of the city centre. If your destination is central Naples, make sure your ticket is to Napoli Centrale, not Napoli Afragola. Afragola is useful primarily for travellers with onward connections to Puglia or Calabria.
